Some creative writing i guess (character and place list which i will hope turns into something more.)

Setting and geography;
In the nation of Abzu (Shares many similarities with Africa besides some fauna and flora.) weather is erratic but slow to change.
200 hundred years ago Humans first settled the land creating the nation known as Abzu-Zuul, 100 years ago the human nation of Abzu-Zuul was shattered by civil war into hundreds of shards that rejoined as the four states.
Everything is mostly stable now... Mostly.

Races;

Humans; If you are reading this, you are one.
Come in all shapes and colors. Abzu has many different human races and cultures within its borders.
There was no Humans in Abzu before the first boats came and began colonization efforts.

Demons; No two demons look the same and due to their celestial nature are physically weaker than humans (and are prime targets for slavery or invasion.)The nation of Nod is where the majority of demons reside, while both Yilan and Bagzul own and trade in demon slaves, both these states have a cordial relationship with the demon nation.
There was small Demon tribes before the Human colonization of Abzu

Sunseers; There is a lot of sex (consensual and otherwise.) between Humans and Demons and sometimes these produce half-breeds called Sunseers, taking up physical characteristics of both parents including physical characteristics not present in either parent.
Some religions view Sunseers are abominations while others have quite the opposite reaction.
The state of Bazgul will induct Sunseers into the Shadow Emissary and let them own property.

States;

First State (Ulgot); Considered by all others to be the most barbaric and unstable by peoples of all other states.
Major Religion; The Anguished God.

Second State (Yilan); a state of artisans, seafood and brothels, owns many seaports that ship in spices, narcotics and slaves from far away lands, the ports also provide a large amount of premium seafood that attracts people from all across Abzu (except First State.)
The Second State is non-aggressive and her people are more preoccupied with money, art and various vices.

Second States biggest weakness is in her military, as in she doesn't have one other than a police force designed to keep the peace, but with the money Second State brings in though various vices there is always enough money to hire some of the Forth State legion...

Major Religion; The Burning Heart.

Third State (Triyang); The opposite of Yilan in every way, a dull grey city state populated with dull people.
Their wealth comes from its massive iron mines, a major point of contention between Yilan and Bazgul is the high rate of miner fatalities... doesn't stop either nation from buying metal from Triyang.

Major Religion; The Blind God.

Forth State (Bazgul); The overall success of Abzu. this is a busy merchant city were boats and travelers come though all the time with items of great wealth from all over the world. The people are nice, if a little stuck up. the cities are safe (even in the byzantine streets and alleys of Yag City.) and any desires you might have can be met. Bazgul is home to the largest and most well disciplined military on the continent, so-much-so that other states will hire out Bazgul legionariis to train or help defend boarders from all comers, their black heavy armor strikes awe into allies and fear into enemies.

Any enemies inside Bazgul borders have to contend with Shadow Emissary, a secret military group that ruthlessly hunts all forms of corruption within the city,

Major Religion; Dawn Splinter

The Tribes; Nomadic tribes that wander Abzu without regard for borders or other formalities.
Tribes can be made up of all humans, all Demons or a mixture.
They are considered to be bandits and rapists by the state leaders and anyone affiliated with a Tribe is barred from entering any major city.
Whenever a outlying village or town is ransacked and burned to the ground, blame usually centers on the Tribes whether they committed the act or not.

Nod; a nation off to the west of Abzu populated by demons, the outlying villages are targets for Abzu slavers while the major cities themselves are nigh untouchable and usually the only humans that enter the cities are either Diplomats, Shadow Emissaries or slaves.
